Mr. Janahi commended the strong support provided by the S.S. Lootah Group to the success of this mission and expressed that such a high-profile forum provided a valuable platform for Emirati entrepreneurs to explore business opportunities with other international delegations from over 70 countries.
Eng. Yahya Lootah, CEO of S.S. Lootah Group, praised the UAE leadership and pointed out that the ‘SME CLEANTECH Mission’ is inspired by their vision to guide the energy of the youth towards business opportunities that promote sustainable economic development. He said, “It is our great pleasure to support the SME mission dedicated to the clean technology sector. Entrepreneurs in the UAE play a major role in enhancing the diversity and sustainability of the economy and we believe that partnerships with international companies is key to the transfer of knowledge and technology to our region that will help SMEs build their competitive advantages.”
The ‘SME CLEANTECH Mission’ was conceived to create new business opportunities through international cooperation and learn about the latest innovations in cleantech areas. The clean
technology sector or ‘Cleantech’ has been one of the fastest growing sectors in the past few years and addresses the roots of ecologic
al problems with new science, and is driven by prod
uctivity-based purchasing, and therefore enjoys broader market economics, with greater financial upside and sustainability.
